Happy super belated birthday pic for my pal kelly

i think you might remember me mentioning having problems with a foxboy pictuer, well heh, here it is, almost a month later, with tonnes of interruptions which i will apologize for in my journal tommorrow,

here's wishing everyone a happy easter while i'm at at it

this pic is of Kelly's character tsunirri/tsubi, i was going to do a pic of rhys or basa-chan initially, when i accidently found this pic on my hard drive [link]
basically, kelly drew this at uni, and left the pic on the harddrive, i took a copy to practice some colouring on, can't remember if i showed it to her or not, but i vaguely remember i wanted to give tsubi san an orange shirt....lol finally got it, although my old colouring looks horrendous.

anyways, tried a different colouring technique (when don't i?) and spent a whole night drawing a good chunk of this from around 10pm to 4am, still didn't finish it in time though, lol

sketch: 6-7 hours (mostly spent on the flowers though)
colouring: AGES Open Canvas 4, and Photoshop
